I was born in Christian family. My parents were Christian before I was born. I have four siblings, two elder sisters and one younger brother. I am married and I do have two sons. I have had an opportunity to attend Church service with my parents and Sunday school since my childhood. Because of Christian family background, I have got an opportunity to be a part of the Christian children’s home, where free shelter, food, and education has been given to those children who were unprivileged and in poor financial condition in their family. I had joined the Christian children home from my grade 7, that children home was located so far away from my home village. It takes two days to reach there. But because of not having a good education in the village and my poor financial status, my parents sent me there for my bright future.

As I went there for my further study, I have been occasionally attending Sunday school and church services not regularly. But when I had finished my final exam of grade eight, all the friends from the same village and others went to their home to visit with their family, because there was vacation for about 3 weeks after the final exam of all the grades. But I have decided not to go to my village because I didn’t have money to pay the bus fare and other costs that were needed to reach my village. During the vacation time, there was Sunday School Teachers Training, for 10 days which was held by Nepal Children Fellowship. Home in-charge encouraged me to attend Sunday school teachers training. It was really challenging for me to complete 10 days because I have never been in such kind of training. But later, I thought that it would be the best idea to spend my vacation time for 10 days because almost all my colleagues have gone home. Very hardly I have completed that training.

After that training I have started to help in Sunday school. But still I didn’t recognize and accept Christ as my Savior and Lord from the bottom of my Heart. In one worship service, in the ceremony, the speaker was preaching about how someone can get the Salvation or be the children of God. At the end of the ceremony the speaker did later call and ask to come forward to accept Christ as their Lord and savior to those whoever didn’t accept Christ yet as their Lord and Saviour. Then, I went forward and accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour. But after receiving Christ, I have got confirmation about the Salvation in my life and I am able to grow in my spiritual life than before. I have experienced lots of changes in life. Before that I was not attending regularly in the service and even in the Sunday school as well, I was attending if there were some responsibility of mine and I was a shy person and not able to talk to others because of fear. After receiving Christ, I was able to attend the worship service and Sunday school every week and started to help in worship service too. And started to come over the shyness and fear of talking or sharing with others. I felt joy and peace in my life. 

My study also has been going well. I was studying hard and getting good marks and position in the class but the final result of grade ten extremely shocked me because I failed which was out of my expectation. It was unbelievable. In the beginning, my friends and teachers could not believe my result but in reality I failed. I have planned my further study after the 10th grade but all the plans I have made have been limited in just an imagination. Because of the unexpected result, it affected my spiritual journey too. Several weeks I have not gone to service and Sunday school. So many friends and teachers came to comfort me but I was not able to control myself. Gradually I have been able to overcome that situation and attend 2 nd times in the exam and got a pass. After that I got an opportunity to join the Youth For Christ ministry and further my study as well. Since then, I have been ministering among the young people of local churches as a youth minister and helping in the local church as a leader. 

And since the midst of 2015 AD, I have got the opportunity to join a church planning ministry team as a team member. We have planted 4 churches in different locations in the western part of Nepal and are planning, praying and moving forward to start several new churches as well.
