My name is Hom Bahadur Tamang. My wife’s name is Meena Tamang. I am Born on 1983 April 09 in Bagmati zone Sindhupalchowk District, Sunkoshi Gaupalika Ward no 4 Yemuna dada Simpani. I was born in a Buddhist family. I am the only child in my family. When I get married there is an economic crisis in my family. To support my family’s daily needs and raise our family’s economic condition in 2007 I went to Malaysia Melaka oriental food company for a job. I started working there as work is easy but the salary was very low which is not sufficient for us. For this reason, I can’t pay the load that I took during coming to work in Malaysia. Due to this, I started to drink alcohol daily.

I had a friend there with whom I work together, their name is Krishna  Dahal from Gorkha and Amar Sapkota from Sindhupalchowk. They are Christian but I don’t know about them unit they don’t introduce me to Christianity and Christ.  But I don’t like Christian and their message but they say about Christ whenever they have time or we are getting together. Through this friend, I have the privilege to hear the gospel for the first time in my life. When I was there in Malaysia I went to church there with my friend. At that time one of the Christian Brothers came from Singapore and he gave me a pocket bible as we know each other. By reading that bible I am to know that in John 1:12 and 14:6 we can become children of God. From that verse, I came to know Christ can save me. In 2009 I received Christ through pastor Danny Chiew. In 2009-12-20 pastor Thomas Chin was baptized in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit from Toman Asean Methodist Church Melaka.

In 2010-8 I returned to Nepal and I successfully completed the offered course of six months of discipleship and church multiplication and leadership training and graduated in 2011-8-31.

During those training courses, I started my ministry in Sindhupalchowk.  The ministry continued for six years. We have all together (including children also) 76 members in our Church.
