My name is Joseph Thakuri. 23 years ago a group of Christian people came to preach the gospel near my village. One of my foreign brothers called James gave me a small book called “Human heart”. I read that Small book. While I was reading that book, I felt some shaking in my body and heart. Then I felt this small book has power. After some time one Mother told me more about Jesus but due to my social circumstances, I did not accept Jesus for four years. After four years another Christian group came to our home and told us more about Jesus. On that night I and my household received Jesus as our personal Lord and savior. After that, we faced many problems with our neighbors and villagers. They never allowed us to participate in any programs and works of the community. They always rejected us. 

Amazing things in those times, we never felt alone, we always felt the presence of God and his help in those hard times, Even though we had that persecution, we kept believing in Jesus, and by This time God has given us many victories and many souls in our village. Now I am serving God as a founder pastor in my own village. Please keep praying for us. Thank you.
