My name is Nar Bahadur Tamang. I was born in a very remote VDC ward Number 3 of Neser village of Dhading District. I was born in a Buddhist family and all my families were so strong followers of Buddha. 27 yrs ago, there some Christian people came to our village and they showed the love of God to us and because of the way they show us the love and mercy of each other, that brought more attention to Jesus and I started to ask about Jesus more and they show shared me about the Salvation of Jesus. Then I received Jesus as my personal Lord and savior of my life 26 yrs ago. By that time I was 12 yrs old and I started to go to Church regularly. But my parents did not like me to go to Church and they started to persecute me for the sale of Jesus. My parents encouraged me to be a monk among my own people. But I denied their suggestion of being a Buddhist Monk. Then my parents and brothers kicked me out of the home. They took away the Bible I bought in Rs. 15. I said to my parents that I have decided to follow Jesus; Whether I die or live I will be Jesus. During those persecutions, the believers from the village encouraged me and prayed for me. 

Then in 2001, I went for nine months of Bible training in Kathmandu. After that, I serve God in Tir Village. But during the monsoon time, the Tir village got a landslide and all the people from this village moved to another village. But I moved to Salenter Village with my wife and youngest brother in 2002. Then in we started a small church in this village in 2002 from my family.  As I started the church here, God added more souls to His kingdom and the church started to grow. The people from Salenter village are Hindu and they always hated Christians but we showed them the Love of Jesus. Slowly some of them became Christian as well. We made a strategy to reach every single household of this Salenter village and some people believed in Jesus and the church also grew.  Now we are 90 members in the same congregation and the Lord is really working a great way. 

I am so happy as the Lord opened the door to work with JSN Ministry in the Bible School. This is the really great school we ever can have in our own place. Our people are really growing in the word of God and in the lord day by day through the Bible School. Not only is God saving new people through me and my students in the Bible School.  God saved 6 new souls since we started Bible School here in our Church. Our believers are very exciting as they are getting the precious word of God through JSN Bible School.
